Road to the Valley Harvest Half/Full Marathon (21km and 42 km) with Kinesiologist Patrick Loughran and Dr. Jenny Connolly from Windsor Chiropractic Health Centre.
This program's method focuses on using endurance and strength training, general sports nutrition, proper body mechanics and form to reduce your chances of developing an injury. This program is suitable for novice runners or those who may be coming back to running after a break. Athletic attire is required for this program, and you will be required to dress for the weather as the long runs will be outdoors.

Program details:
The Program will begin Sunday, May 29th, at 9:00 am at Windsor Chiropractic Health Centre. Runners will meet at the clinic, discuss the route for the morning and learn about running form, injuries, injury prevention and shoe recommendations.
We will give you a training program to follow to run through the week so you can build the running volume needed to complete the half or full marathon by October. We will also provide exercise, stretching and mobility routines to keep you going throughout your training duration.
Are you worried about going away over the summer and sticking to training?
We will give you all of the tools you need to complete your training if you are out of town and have to miss a group training event. Over the holiday weekends, we will take out the long run and substitute in a weeknight cross-training circuit.
