In general, come as you are. For chiropractic appointments, stretchy loose-fitting clothing is optimal. Keep in mind the area you will have examined, if it's your knee, pants that can be easily rolled up past your knee or shorts are recommended.
Can children be treated?
Yes, all of our practitioners treat children. Based on age, treatment will vary. Treatment is safe and effective for all ages, from infancy to adolescence.
I'm pregnant, is it safe to see the chiropractor?
Yes, our chiropractors have specialized training in pre and post-natal care. Chiropractic adjustments are modified for the pregnant patient's comfort. Strength and joint range of motion are assessed to ensure your low back, hips, and pelvis can adequately cope with your ever-changing body as well as upcoming birth.
How long is an initial appointment?
The initial chiropractic appointment an hour-long but may be shorter depending on the complexity of your complaint.
All new massage patient treatments are recommended for an hour to take a brief history and physical.
Initial acupuncture treatments with Sara Lyttle are 1 hour and 30 minutes. Initial podiatrist appointments are 45 minutes.
Do chiropractors adjust all of their patients? Do I have to be adjusted?
No, chiropractors treat a variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, from low back pain to tennis elbow. Treating tennis elbow would not typically require an adjustment.

Yes, we treat both WCB and motor vehicle claims. Our chiropractors will complete the initial intake assessment and fill out the required paperwork based on your situation. Once completed, our chiropractors can refer you to other team members or another professional such as your family doctor, based on your exam findings.
Do you need a referral to see a chiropractor?
No, you do not. Since chiropractors are doctors, insurance plans do not require a referral from your family physician.
Do third party insurers cover your services like Bluecross or Canada Life?
Yes, your treatment can be fully covered or partially covered depending on your extended health care benefits plan. Unfortunately, due to variability among plans and privacy policies, we cannot know your plan's specifics. To inquire about your coverage, please contact your insurer directly.
Do you offer direct billing for extended health care insurance?
Yes, when we can do so, we will. We can direct bill most Blue Cross, Canada life plans and other extended health care plans.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Missed appointments will be charged at 50% of the treatment rate. Multiple missed appointments will require a credit card on file to book, and the full rate will be charged.
